Volunteer or Donate

There are many ways to get involved at the Blue Ridge Center for Chinese Medicine.

FINANCIAL DONATIONS

Despite the fact that our grant awards have been very successful for the Appalachian Herb Growers Consortium (AHGC), that fact can be very misleading. BRCCM needs ongoing community support and individual financial contributions to maintain its building facilities and clinic operations because our grant funds are not available for these critical costs.

Grants for AHGC are very tightly allocated and are not intended for funding the ongoing needs of BRCCM. From newspaper reports, it can be confusing to understand the difference from grant funds awarded to AHGC and its Chinese Medicinal Herb (CMH) operation; we must still rely on donations from our community to keep the BRCCM operation working its best to fulfill its mission by maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our patients, students, and the community at large.

Every dollar counts! We appreciate donations in any amount. Thank you for your consideration!

VOLUNTEER

Volunteering at BRCCM is a great way to be more involved and help us sustain our efforts to provide the quality healthcare and educational services while keeping costs as low as possible. We thank everyone who can join us in some meaningful ways as we care for the physical needs of our building and programs. Please check our calendar for upcoming volunteer opportunities. Thank you very much for your time!

CURRENT FINANCIAL NEEDS

We gladly accept cash donations for specific needs that are identified by our staff and community members as well as in-kind donations. Our list of current needs are as follows (please check back frequently as our needs change):

  • Lumber to replace aging and rotting decks
  • Yoga mats
  • Old molded hay from pesticide-free fields
  • Computer speakers
  • Widescreen computer screen
  • Gravel for the parking lot
  • Contributions to our Subsidy Fund for health care
