With over ten years in Chinese medicinal herb production, BRCCM is dedicated to applying our experience to fostering new growth for local farms and the community at large. We hope to help build a more sustainable, economically and environmentally-sound foundation for the future by supporting effective cultivation and marketing of high-value plants.

Toward that end we have developed the Appalachian Herb Growers Consortium. The Consortium is a group of over 50 small farmers in our region who are coordinated through the efforts of staff on site here at BRCCM.

Our farmers have the support of a source for reliable seed and plants, on-site consultations, help with harvests and post-harvest handling, and virtually guaranteed sales through an established national herb-buying consortium. With this, our participating farmers can focus on what they do best: farming.
